Information about our church
The Greek Evangelical Church of Thessaloniki is the oldest Protestant church in the city of Thessaloniki. It belongs to the Synod of the Evangelical Church of Greece, which is a Presbyterian denomination, founded in 1858.
The Greek Evangelical Church of Thessaloniki has its weekly worship service every Sunday at 11:00 am, and we will be glad to welcome you there.
Our Sunday services have simultaneous translation in English. When you arrive at the church, ask the deacons in the entrance to give you a wireless translation headset, so that you can have simultaneous translation of our service into English.
The Greek Evangelical Church of Thessaloniki also offers daily food to people in need, at the premises of the "Christian Steki", a ministry of our church for the poor and the refugees of Thessaloniki. The daily food distribution happens five days per week (Monday to Friday) at 10:00 am in Plateia Ippodromiou 10, Thessaloniki. If you are in need of food, or psychosocial support, please contact us so that we help you accordingly.
